Thursday July 26, 2012

Lena Headey is soon to be a single woman, following reports that she has filed for divorce from her husband, musician Peter Loughran.

The 38-year-old, who married Peter in May 2007, has cited "irreconcilable differences" as having caused their relationship to break down.

Whilst the couple have been separated since 2011, Lena filed the court documents at LA Superior County Court on July 20, 2012.

The actress, who plays queen Cersei Lannister in TV hit Game Of Thrones, is reportedly requesting joint legal and physical custody of their two-year-old son Wylie.

Lena has also starred in TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and films including 300, The Brothers Grimm and St Trinian's and will next be seen in Dredd alongside Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby.
