Simon Cowell picks 'X Factor' winner's track

Thursday November 26, 2009

With the X Factor final fast approaching, people are beginning to wonder what the winner's song - which is subsequently released as a single - will be.

If reports are to be believed, judge and show boss Simon Cowell apparently has 1981 hit Don't Stop Believin at the top of his list.

Fans of the show may remember this track from rock week, when 18-year-old contestant Joe McElderry gave a well received rendition.

Second in the running is said to be The Climb from Disney movie Hannah Montana. The track is reportedly favoured should Stacey Solomon be in line to win the competition.

There's been speculation that rivals Olly Murs and Danyl Johnson may be upset by the choices.

But on last weekend's program Simon suggested that the winner's song had been picked and agreed on by all the contestants.
