Pregnant Kate Hudson: My baby 'feels like a girl'

Thursday January 27, 2011

Kate Hudson still has a while to go before she welcomes her baby with Muse rocker Matt Bellamy.

But the actress already has an idea about the sex of her second child.

"It feels like a girl, but I don't know" she revealed on The Graham Norton Show this week, before adding: "Ryder (her seven-year-old son) thinks it’s a girl."

Kate also dismissed numerous reports that she and her musician love were due to wed.

"No, no, not that I know of," she said when asked if she was secretly engaged. "I don’t like puting that sort of pressure on it and I don’t feel it necessary to get married."

"I am 31, I already have one child and have had one divorce so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy.

"My parents (Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell) have been 30 years not married, so it's not something I feel I have to do."

On the subject of her British beau, the You, Me and Dupree star described Matt as "polite and kind and so sweet."

"It was the phone calls that signed the deal for me – hearing his voice on the phone. It was so lovely… He has corrected some of my use of English."
