Lorraine Chase and Pat Sharp out of 'I'm a Celebrity'

Monday November 28, 2011

Lorraine Chase and Pat Sharp have been thrown out of the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.

The first double eviction of this series saw the former Emmerdale actress going home after she polled the fewest public votes.

Earlier DJ Pat made his exit after losing a special Bushtucker Trial against former athlete campmate Fatima Whitbread.

The pair were pitted against each other when they won the fewest public votes to keep them in the Australian jungle.

Leaving the camp, an emotional Lorraine said that she had challenged herself to appear on the show for her 60th birthday. She said: "I only knew two weeks before that I was coming in, so I thought, oh my God, it's a gift.

"And when I came in I thought, oh, maybe not, because it is so tough."

Her campmate Pat was disappointed to be leaving the jungle. He lost out to Fatima in the Fill Your Face - Extreme Bushtucker Trial, even though the Olympic athlete got a cockroach trapped up her nose.

He said: "It's good to go out and see my missus and see you guys and everything else but I would have liked to have carried on because I was actually getting quite used to it even though I was very hungry.

"If you think about it, everything that I was asked to do, I pretty much achieved."
