Scarlett Johansson’s Super Bowl advert censored

Wednesday January 29, 2014

Scarlett Johansson’s Super Bowl advert has been censored for when it airs during the American football competition on 2 February.

The glamorous 29-year-old actress is promoting Soda Stream, and quips, “Sorry Coke and Pepsi,” which caused censors to demand the line be edited out.

Starting the advert in her dressing gown, Scarlett prepares a drink in the kitchen. The Hollywood star then takes off the dressing gown revealing a stunning dress, before stepping onto a stage complete with orchestra.

“If only there was a way I could make this go viral,” she jokes in the advert. The irony isn’t lost with the uncensored advert gaining more than one million views in Youtube.

“This Super Bowl commercial is such a huge platform,” beamed Scarlett as she talked about the experience. “Being able to do something that’s really flashy and eye-catching, it’s fun! It’s really a whole new world for me.”
