Geri Halliwell is heading Down Under - as a judge on Australia's Got Talent.
The 40-year-old singer has been named as the fourth judge on the show alongside funnywoman Dawn French, singer-songwriter Timomatic and Australian radio and TV personality Kyle Sandilands, after her Spice Girls bandmate Mel B had to leave due to contractual issues.
Speaking on Australian TV show, A Current Affair she said: "I'm really excited.
Shows like that are brilliant and I love the opportunity they give to normal, everyday people. Plus I get to come to Australia."
She is planning to take her daughter, six-year-old Bluebell, to Australia with her while she is filming.
"I've known Dawn for a very long time, since the beginning of the Spice Girls. This has all happened so quickly, I haven't spoken to anyone. I've told my daughter - she's coming," she added.
Geri, who previously appeared as a guest judge on The X Factor, revealed she already had Mel's blessing: "She actually said, 'I just want you to know I think you should do it cause you're gonna have a great time'."
