A cut-price night for Heather Mills at Welsh holiday camp

Her own hard work and a substantial settlement from a divorce from Sir Paul McCartney have made it possible for Heather Mills to enjoy a more than comfortable lifestyle.

But the model-turned-campaigner clearly has no problem making do with rather more basic conditions.

The former Beatle's wife booked into a £45-a-night chalet at Pontin's, known for its Bluecoat holiday reps in Prestatyn, North Wales, reports the Daily Mail.

Heather was there to support her new man Jamie Walker at a snooker tournament. Once a holiday guide, the 36-year-old now competes on the professional circuit.

"I brought her to Pontin's to introduce her to what I do," he explained. And the competition clearly captivated the former model. "She said you can feel the tension."

Love blossomed a year ago when the pair met at a five-star resort in Tenerife where the was working as kids' activities co-ordinator.

The 6ft 2in hunk won her over by playing with Beatrice, her daughter by Macca and they were soon living together in Heather's Brighton pad.
