President Obama has proved he's in with the cool crowd by revealing his eclectic and modern taste in music.
In a recent interview with a US publication the 49-year-old listed contemporary rappers Lil Wayne and Nas at the top of his ipod playlist.
While admitting he was "no expert", he credited his aide Reggie Love as well as his two daughters for expanding his music taste.
Speaking of his children, he told Rolling Stone magazine: "[They are] now getting old enough to where they start hipping me to things."
And it's not just rap that gets Barack moving. His listening habits range from Stevie Wonder to Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones as well as jazz and opera.
He said: "Music is still a great source of joy and occasional solace in the midst of what can be some difficult days."
