Chris O'Dowd would consider Ireland move

Tuesday October 30, 2012

Actor and comedian Chris O'Dowd said that he would not rule out plans to move back to the Emerald Isle.

Currently living in London with his brocast journalist wife Dawn Porter, Chris said that he would be more than happy to give up the Big Smoke to start a family.

He said: "Maybe. I like the idea of it but someone might need to be convinced."

"We try not to talk about settling down yet. I think I've scared her enough!" he added.

When Chris returned to Ireland to film new movie Calvary, locals flocked around the set to see the star.

He said: "It's great. There was a period of about seven years where I was only here for Christmas and separate religious occasions, so being here for a stretch now is nice because it means you properly get to see people."

"Sometimes you can feel like a tourist in your own country if you're only coming back for a little while so it hasn't felt like that."
