Thursday October 30, 2014

Kings of British entertainment TV Ant & Dec will host next year's BRIT Awards ceremony, it has been revealed.

Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will once again return to the biggest night in the UK music calendar, taking over their hosting duties from James Corden who MC'd last year's ceremony, and are no strangers to the entertainment world.

The award-winning duo kicked off their successful television career starring in BBC’s children's drama Byker Grove and went on to launch the Ant & Dec show, SM:TV and CD:UK and later present ITV’s Pop Idol, prime time show Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here and Britain’s Got Talent.

The pair also topped the charts last year with a re-release of their pop smash Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble.

Ant & Dec said: "We're really excited to be hosting the BRITs again next year, it is undoubtedly the biggest night in the British music calendar.

"We're especially excited now we're No.1 recording artists ourselves. “

The BRITs will take place Wednesday 25 February at London's O2 arena and will be broadcast live on ITV.
