Michelle Williams 'wants to go back to being a mom'

Tuesday January 31, 2012

Michelle Williams is keeping her work schedule free to focus on being a mother.

The Hollywood actress is now planning to take a break to look after Matilda, her six-year-old daughter with the late Heath Ledger.

She was the epitome of glamour at the Golden Globes, where she picked up an award for her performance in My Week With Marilyn. And she also has an Oscar nomination.

But when asked on the Screen Actors Guild red carpet what she had in the pipeline, Michelle replied: "Absolutely nothing."

She went on: "I just want to go back to being a mom for a while."

Michelle also said she wants to wait until Matilda is older before letting her watch her awards ceremony appearances.

She explained: "I think it could be a pretty misleading part of my job that I don't want to expose her to yet."

And the actress admitted she felt "incredibly lucky" to have starred in My Week With Marilyn.

"It was hard work, and to be experiencing this at the end of it all is completely unexpected and I'm appreciating every moment," she added.
