Michael Jackson was alive at hospital, says doctor

Wednesday March 31, 2010

A doctor has reportedly claimed that the late king of pop Michael Jackson was alive when he arrived at the hospital he was rushed to after suffering cardiac arrest.

The unnamed doctor claims two ECG tests confirmed heart activity from the dying star.

It is also being claimed that Michael's doctor Conrad Murray had managed to restart the singer's heart at home, and then maintained heart activity whilst in the ambulance.

Since his death last June, paramedics have claimed Michael was dead when he arrived at hospital.

Meanwhile, Michael Jackson's father has said he plans to bring a case against Dr Conrad Murray for wrongful death.

Joe Jackson's lawyer, Brian Oxman, told Reuters that the amount of prescription drugs given to the star amounted to second-degree murder.

Dr Murray has denied a charge of involuntary manslaughter.
