Five-times Wimbledon champion Bjorn Borg married 35-year-old estate agent Patricia Ostfeldt on an island near Stockholm on Saturday. The happy couple said “I do” in a flower-filled 17th century church, the nuptials witnessed by 130 family and friends, including former tennis players Mats Wilander and Ilie Nastase.

“I’m the happiest man on Earth,” said Bjorn, after his romantic wedding on the Stockholm archipelago island of Ingaro.

The 46-year-old tennis star wore a dark suit and grey tie for the event, while his lovely bride chose a white lace gown and carried a bouquet of white lilies. Bjorn’s 17-year-old son with model Jannike Bjorling, Robin, and his personal trainer Lennart Bergelin, took part in the ceremony, which was followed by a country club reception.

Bjorn has often said that Patricia, who he began dating early last year, has helped him put his infamous partying ways in the past. “My old life is behind me,” he said recently. “Now I stay at home and watch TV and go and fetch Patricia’s children and Robin when I am able to see him.

The wedding is Bjorn’s third – he was formerly married to Romanian tennis player Mariana Simionescu and Italian singer Loredana Berte. Patricia has two children from a previous relationship.
