Charlotte in good voice as beloved Wales win rugby

Proud Charlotte Church watched her beloved Welsh rugby team beat France to win the Six Nations competition on Saturday night. There to cheer on her beau Gavin Henson, with who she has had her first child daughter Ruby, Charlotte's delight at the final whistle summed up the electric atmosphere of the Millennium Stadium.

"It was awesome," the 22-year-old singer said. "I'm proud of every one of those lads, but especially Gav".

Wearing her country's colour in a red vest top, Charlotte clearly enjoyed herself as she joined friends in the box to watch the match. The patriotic chanteuse didn't just lend her vocals to the Welsh national anthem, cheering the team on enthusiastically from her seat.

She wasn't the only singer in the stadium supporting the Dragons. X-Factor finalist Rhydian Roberts was delighted with his side's win. "What a brilliant day, what an outstanding set of performances form this truly fantastic side," he said.

Rugby-loving Prince William, who became the Vice Royal patron of the Welsh Rugby Union in February last year, was on hand to present the elated team with the Six Nations trophy.
