Jade Goody more comfortable as doctors bring pain under control

Reality TV star Jade Goody has had her first "good night's sleep" for several days after doctors brought her pain under control overnight on Sunday, and may be able to receive a visit from her two young sons in hospital.

A spokesman for the Big Brother star, who is suffering from terminal cancer, said she was admitted to The Royal Marsden clinic in London at the weekend. She was expected to have an emergency operation to deal with an internal blockage.

Publicist Max Clifford said he was not sure whether the procedure would go ahead following consultants' success in making her more comfortable.

Jade's children, five-year-old Bobby and Freddie, four, will visit their mum "providing she is well enough". "She just wants to be at home with the kids and obviously with (her husband) Jack," added Mr Clifford.

The TV personality had been keeping her spirits up by planning a christening for her boys next Saturday and preparing for a screen interview with Piers Morgan for ITV early this week.
