Attending the Directors Guild of America Awards, the couple put paid to rumours that their relationship is in trouble.
Although they didn't appear on the red carpet together, the parents-of-six were spotted laughing and embracing as the four-hour ceremony commenced.
"They looked very giggly," an onlooker revealed to US publication People.
"They looked like they are having a fun time. Split? It looked more like a date."
While Brad was in attendance presenting an award to his Inglourios Basterds director Quentin Tarantino, Angelina wasn't expected to appear.
But contrary to reports, the actress did show up and was on stunning form in a green asymmetrical Elie Saab gown and Stuart Weitzman heels.
Brad also spruced up for his appearance. After months of sporting an untidy, plaited beard, the actor was looking dapper with newly-trimmed facial hair and a pristine black suit.
Also attending the glitzy event were British star Carey Mulligan, Glee actress Lea Michele and Slumdog creator Danny Boyle.
