Zara and Mike: A perfect match
It was always a matter of 'when' Zara and Mike would marry, not 'if'. Mike himself said so to HELLO!
After seven years of dating, the couple – who met during England's Rugby World Cup winning campaign in 2003 – announced their intentions to wed last December.
Just weeks after Prince William presented the future Duchess of Cambridge to the world, Mike popped the question to his "shocked" girlfriend with a beautiful solitare diamond ring he designed himself.
Dublin-born designer Paul Costelloe is rumoured to be making Zara's gown. She wore one of his creations to William and Kate's nuptials
Zara and her rugby-playing love will tie the knot at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh. The reception will be held afterwards at Holyrood Palace, the Queen's official home in Scotland.
A roll call of royals will attend the nuptials – most likely to include Zara's beloved grandmother and grandfather Prince Philip, and Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
Kate and William are also expected, as is Zara's brother Peter and his wife Autumn.
