Victoria Beckham jetted back to her family in the US after attending a press conference on the steps of the St Pancras Hotel in London, where the group filmed the video for their hit Wannabe in 1996.The 38-year-old had obviously enjoyed the reunion with her former bandmates, however, tweeting: "Thank you girls: Amazing to see you all today! Lots of love, Victoria x"Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell did spend the evening together, dining at the Mayfair restaurant and perhaps reminisced about their chart-topping days or their 2008 reunion tour.Vivacious blonde Emma – aka Baby – tweeted: "Had an amazing day with my girls," adding: "Love ya!"Meanwhile, Geri said: "I can't stop smiling. So good to be with the girls. "Melanie Brown, who told her Twitter followers seeing her pals was "so much fun" stayed in London, but opted for having a date night with her husband Stephen Belafonte.

The pair enjoyed some time together without the kids, having dinner at the Nobu Berkley restaurant.

There was no sign of Melanie Chisholm, who probably had to get back to her three-year-old daughter Scarlet.

But the former Sporty Spice was equally excited after their meeting. "So proud to be a Spice Girl," wrote the 38-year-old to her friends. "Love you all dearly. Thank you for everything."

The quintet got together to unveil Viva Forever, a West End musical featuring 18 of their songs. It's been put together by Judy Craymer, the woman responsible for Abba musical Mamma Mia!, and was written by Jennifer Saunders. "The second I knew this project was up for grabs I rang my agent and said I had to be involved," said the comedienne, who had a cameo in Spice World.

The musical tells the tale of "a beautiful, talented girl and her best friends who get swept up in the obsession of today's TV celebrity culture".It "charts her journey into the world of overnight fame and its impact on her relationships with her mother and the friends she thought she'd have forever". While the former band won't be treading the boards themselves, they have been involved in the production since the project got underway three years ago.
