With a birthday to celebrate the Girls Aloud ladies dressed to impress. Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts all turned heads in a colletion of leather outfits as they stepped out in London to celebrate 31-year-old Kimberley's special day.
Cheryl chose a tight mustard-hued leather dress for the occasion and completed her outfit with nude heels and a deep red lipstick, sweeping her long dark tresses over one shoulder. The birthday also went hell for leather in a black ensemble, protecting herself against the chilly weather with a black and grey textured jacket and carrying a cute baby pink satchel.

Nicola teamed her black leather skirt with an oversized white knitted jumper and some pink and black heels for the birthday dinner at stylish Japanese restaurant Zuma. The girls clearly enjoyed the Knightsbridge venue's fine food, taking to Twitter to comment on their overindulgence.
Cheryl posted a photograph of herself on the social networking site with the message “almost ate myself to death with the girls, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts why did we do the desserts???” The other ladies seemed to be suffering the same afflicton with Nicola replying “I can’t even think about it! I feel sick! Help me pls! X”
Kimberley agreed, referencing her on-trend outfit in response to Cheryl by saying “I’m asking myself the same thing. Time to undo the leather trousers I think…"
The girls are fresh from their recent performances at both the Royal Variey Show and BBC's Children in Need. The fivesome, which also includes Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle, were behind the charity's annual single this year and performed Something New live for the first time during the telethon on November 16. Their recent performances follow hot on the heels of the girls' announcement that they are planning a comeback tour and album to mark their ten years in the industry.
Returning after a three-year hiatus, Girls Aloud were formed as part of early X Factor-style show Pop Stars: The Rivals in 2002. The ladies were in direct competition with boy band One True Voice for the Christmas number one. Girl power won the day when their catchy single Sound of the Underground pipped the boys to the post. The signle's success paved the way for a stellar career, consisting of 20 consecutive UK Top 10 singles (including four number ones) and two UK number one albums.
Winter has been an extra busy season for Bradford-born Kimberley as she is also currently starring in the tenth series of Strictly Come Dancing. Partnered with Pasha Kovalev the brunette beauty is a hot favourite in the hotly contested competition. On Sunday she wore a dramatic pink and silver dress for an impressive samba routine that earned a respectable score of 32 points. Judge Len Goodman praised the singer after her performance saying: "If you're in the dance-off tomorrow night I'll pickle my walnuts."
Once the series' sixth evictee, Richard Arnold had been announced as the latest to leave the ladies took to the stage in sparkling mirrored dresses to perform Something New once more for the excited audience.
