Fern Britton has shown off her glamorous side in a sultry photoshoot for HELLO! magazine – and revealed that she revels in her sexy new image. Following her seductive turns on the dance floor on Strictly Come Dancing, the former This Morning presenter says she can't see what the fuss is all about. "You all think I'm Mumsy Mumsy but I'm not," she laughs. "That's the real me. I know how to have a good time, I like to be extrovert and I don't mind making a fool of myself."
And as for that figure-skimming, hot pink fringed dress she wore for her last performance, a steamy salsa, she says: "I comfort myself with the feeling that the audience know me and that I'm prepared to have a go at things. I don't think they're ever shocked by anything that happens to me. I got such lovely messages saying, 'Go, girl!'"At the end, even Artem said, 'You've made me a better person,' and gave me a big bunch of flowers. "Fern's growth in confidence has coincided with a dramatic change in style which she puts down to the fact that she's no longer restricted by the outfits she had to wear as a television presenter. Leaving This Morning in 2009 after ten years was also liberating. "I can buy things for me," she tells HELLO!.
"I don't have to look on camera how my head of department wants me to. I can put on a miniskirt or buy a pair of shorts."
