Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West are expecting their first child, it has been revealed. Pregnancy rumours have been swirling for several weeks, but during a performance in Atlantic City on Sunday night, rapper Kanye confirmed the happy news. With Kim watching from the audience, he said "stop the music", before asking the crowd to congratulate his "baby mama". "Make noise for my baby mama right here," he said with a smile from ear to ear. Kanye also told the 5,000-strong crowd during his performance, singing: "Now you having my baby."
The Kardashian family were quick to tweet about their excitement and share their feelings on the happy news. A clearly delighted Kourtney Kardashian tweeted: "Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!" Other sister Khloe, who appears to be relieved that the pregnancy is out in the open, wrote: "Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!!" Her husband Lamar Odom, meanwhile, joined the well-wishers by tweeting: "I'm excited for Kanye and my sister! There's nothing like bringing life into this world! Let's keep God's blessings coming!"
Message of congratulations also came from Kim's younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who posted: "Who's excited about the KIMYE babbyyy?!" and "Congrats to the beautiful couple. I love you guys." And Kim's mum Kris Jenner, who is already grandmother to Kourtney's two children Mason and Penelope, was barely able to contain her excitement, writing: "I'm a happy girl!!!!!!! Wowza! Oh BABY BABY BABY!!!" The happy couple recently denied pregnancy rumours, which were fuelled by Kim's sudden bout of illness.
The pair attended a basketball game on Christmas Day, watching Kim's brother-in-law Lamar play with his new team The Clippers. But they left at half time, with Kim later tweeting that she felt 'unwell'. Kim is thought to be around the 12-week mark. They have been dating for eight months after going public with their relationship in March.
