Model Paula Hamilton and US reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt - dubbed Speidi - have joined jockey Frankie Dettori as the first housemates up for eviction from Celebrity Big Brother. Paula, 51, who shot to fame after fronting an ad campaign for  Volkswagen, will face the public vote alongside The Hills couple - who entered the Channel 5 show as one contestant - after receiving the most nominations from their fellow celebrities.

Champion jockey Frankie was already up for eviction after four contestants living in the basement were told they had the chance to move to the luxury living quarters upstairs. In order to do so they had to nominate one of the group to face the public vote.

Nominations were screened on Sunday night's episode ahead of the first live eviction show on Wednesday, revealing that 'Speidi' and Paula were unanimously voted out of the competition. Although upset by the news, Heidi said: "It's just a game and I would be disappointed if we weren't up. "Current favourite, X Factor star Rylan Clark tried to comfort the very couple that he had voted for in the Diary Room, saying: "It’s been two days, they're nothing reasons".Despite putting on a brave face, the pair are convinced that they will be the first to leave the house. "We're out of here," declared reality star Spencer. Jockey Frankie, however, is hoping for a brighter outcome. The sportsman was chosen to face the public vote after his fellow basement dwellers, Rylan Clark, footballer Neil "Razor" Ruddock and actor Sam Robertson decided he was popular with viewers and therefore more likely to survive the public vote.

Asked how he felt about being up for eviction, Frankie said: "A little bit scared, but hopefully the British audience will vote for me to stay in." Rylan has been installed as favourite to win the show, with Frankie following closely behind. This is the fourth series of Celebrity Big Brother since the show transferred to channel 5 after a decade-long stint on channel 4. Ratings have fallen since the show's return to the screen, with just 2.3 million viewers tuning in per episode.
