Helen, 62, arrived at the church in central London in a silver Mercedes where well-wishers were gathered to offer their congratulations and catch a glimpse of the famous guests.
Dressed in a green silk and lace Bruce Oldfield gown, beamed as she posed outside St James's Church in Piccadilly, raising her bouquet in the air before joining her husband-to-be Trevor, a teacher.
Before Helen arrived a host of her on-screen colleagues turned out to take their seats in the church.
Sue Nicholls, who plays Helen's on-screen mother Audrey, arrived to watch the nuptials, as did Ben Price and Jack Shepherd, who play her sons Nick and David.
Other celebrities at the ceremony included musical theatre star Elaine Paige, actress Lynda Bellingham and Coronation Street stars Jennie McAlpine, Anthony Cotton and Shobna Gulati.
Samia Ghadie arrived with her partner Sylvain Longchambon, whose romance started when she partnered him on the most recent series of Dancing On Ice.
As the happy couple emerged from the venue they were showered in confetti and headed to The Ritz hotel for their wedding reception.
