Heidi Klum is removing the tattoo of her ex-husband Seal's name, more than a year since the couple's break-up.
The German model, 40, who divorced the singer in 2012 and is now dating bodyguard Martin Kristen, "is in the process of getting her tattoo removed," a source told People magazine.
The abstract design, which spells out singer Seal's name along her right inner arm, was a commemoration of the then couple's vow renewals.
"It was our fourth wedding, and we wanted to have our names tattooed together," the America's Got Talent judge said of her body art in 2008. "So it's my husband's name and our three children – their initials, in the [three] stars."
Recent photos of the stunning model and mum of four, who was married to Seal for seven years and with whom she famously renewed wedding vows annually, show that the ink is appearing to fade.
According to the source, the former Project Runway host has "been through a few treatments," but the process is said to only be taking place on the name of her ex-husband. "The stars with her children's initials will stay intact."
Heidi and Seal announced their split in January 2012 and the supermodel filed for divorce three months later.
She went on to find love with her former bodyguard Martin, and the couple started dating in September of last year when the German-born beauty hired him to look after her four children, Leni, eight, Henry, seven, Johan, six, and Lou, three, following her separation from the children's dad.
As Heidi removes the tattoo that represents her former marriage to Seal, she is obviously embracing her future with her new boyfriend Martin.
Their happiness is evident, as the loved-up pair were spotted strolling in New York at the weekend with Heidi's children.
