When the British public first got to know Mark Wright, his on-off romance with Lauren Goodger was featured as one of the biggest story lines on TOWIE.Now happily engaged to Michelle Keegan, Mark has spoken about his relationship with his new fiancée and said that their love is "totally different" from anything he has experienced before. "I never realised love could actually feel like this," he told Heat, "I thought I'd been in love before, but I obviously haven't. That was, like, teenage, but grown-up love is totally different."

Mark, 26, went on to compare his relationship with Michelle to that between Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams' characters in the epic love story, The Notebook. "Every single thing you imagine and you dream about falling in love with someone, I've got now," he said. "I remember watching The Notebook, and I honestly feel like what Noah has got, I've got. "Mark proposed to Michelle, also 26, nine months after they got together at a New Year's Ever party in Dubai — and she has been welcomed into his family.

Certainly she gets well with Mark's sister Jessica, who was involved in a well-documented spat with his former fiancée Lauren on the show. Dismissing her brother's romance with Lauren as "volatile" and "random", Jessica told Heat, "Lauren and Mark met when they were children. "They were 15, they weren't even adults, and they had a kind of volatile, random relationship. With Michelle, Mark's besotted. He idolises, he respects her. He just loves her. "Michelle and Mark confirmed their engagement last week, with the Coronation Street beauty writing on Twitter, "THANKYOU for all the lovely messages, and yes it's true @markwright_ and I are engaged!! We are so SO happy :-) xxx"

Michelle has also previously been engaged — to The Wanted's Max George, but ended their relationship in July 2012. Max was among the first to pass on his best wishes to the couple, during an appearance on Daybreak last week. "I'm actually really happy for her, she's a wonderful girl," he said. "I've met Mark and he seems like a really nice bloke, so yeah — I wish them all the luck in the world."
