Father and son Tom Cruise and Connor enjoy boys day out at Dodgers game

Tom Cruise enjoyed a boys day out with his teenage son Connor Cruise on Tuesday when the duo went to a baseball game in Los Angeles.Father and son cheered on their hometown team the Los Angeles Dodgers as they went head to head with the St. Louis Cardinals in a playoff game at Dodger Stadium, near downtown LA.Tom, 51, was relaxed in a blue jumper and jeans and a pair of aviator sunglasses.

His 18-year-old son looked all grown up in a short-sleeved blue shirt with a paisley pattern and jeans. He also sported a growing beard.

The two were clearly having a great time, catching up and laughing, as well as clapping for their team and sharing a high five.

Although supported by the star and his son, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost out to the visiting Cardinals, who won 4-2.

Earlier in the day Connor, who was adopted along with his older sister Isabella, 20, by Tom and his second wife Nicole Kidman after they married in 1990, shared his excitement at attending the game.He took to Twitter, writing, "Dodger game with pops #blue. "Later he returned to the social network to thank the Los Angeles Police Department for their help at the sold-out stadium. It seems the father and son duo even got an escort. "Thank you LAPD for your help at Dodger Stadium today! And for the escort!"Dad-of-three Tom divorced his third wife Katie Holmes in the summer of 2012. He flew his six-year-old daughter Suri to London earlier this year to spend a few days with him while he filmed sci-fi thriller All You Need is Kill.
