In the early 1990s Sarah Michelle Gellar featured on the long-running daytime soap All My Children, originating the role of Kendall Hart, one of the soap’s most villainous character.

In 1995 and at the age of 17, Sarah Michelle won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Young Actress for her performance as Kendall.

She left the role that year and went on to star in several high profile horror films including I Know What You Did Last Summer, where she would meet her future husband Freddie Prinze Jr.That same year, Sarah Michelle was cast in a new and unique television show which would on to define her career.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer was a mid-season replacement show and ran for 13 episodes.

Created for Joss Whedon, the show would, despite all odds, run for seven years and gain a worldwide following.

After meeting in 1997, Sarah and Freddie began dating in 2000 and married in Mexico in 2011, giving HELLO! exclusive images of the ceremony.

Eight years later the pair welcomed their first daughter, Charlotte, and in 2012 a son named Rocky.
