The 49-year-old was found by her assistant inside the Eighth Floor apartment around 10am New York time, and there was no suspicion of foul play.

Mick and the Rolling Stones cancelled their Australian tour when they heard the news, and Mick has spent the last week at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Mick and L’Wren met in 2001 on a photoshoot. They were quickly inseparable, and reports that suggested L’Wren was not fully accepted in the Jagger clan have been soundly rejected.
