The Hollywood star, who is currently filming the World War Z sequel in the UK, swung by the Billericay restaurant where he ordered a £6.35 cheeseburger meal with chips.
"Brad was really polite and friendly to staff," an onlooker told the Mirror. "He's a fan of the Wimpy donuts after having them when he was filming World War Z here a few years ago.
"Sadly there weren't any on Tuesday night," they added. "He is expected to come back later this week to pick some up."
According to the Mirror, Brad ordered: "A £9.85 smokey barbecue burger with cheese, bacon and chips, a £2.95 classic cheeseburger and a £4.60 sausage, egg and chips meal all washed down with fizzy pop."

Brad spent the evening in Billericay, where BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey was set, enjoying a drink at the Red Lion pub.
The 50-year-old father-of-six was seen relaxing in a private conference room in the pub.
"There was no fuss," an insider told the Mirror. "Brad clearly just wanted to chill out after his day on set."
