Khloé Kardashian says she is not back with Lamar Odom despite calling off divorce

Khloé Kardashian may have called off her divorce from Lamar Odom after his overdose, but she insists they are not back together. The 31-year-old, who has been supporting Lamar throughout his recovery, said it was simply "smarter" for the divorce to be put on hold at this time for a number of reasons.

"It's out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that's not in our thought process right now," Khloé told People. "There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now."

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star explained that she simply wants to be a "support system" for Lamar, who spent three days in a coma after being found unconscious at a legal brothel in Nevada earlier this month.

"Tragedy does make you assess a lot of things, but when it comes to our relationship, it's the same, except I'm here supporting him fully," Khloé explained. "I'm not trying to get married tomorrow to anybody. It's just bad timing to proceed with that right now. And also for medical reasons, it's just smarter that gets put on hold for a minute.

"But that does not mean I'm back with Lamar. That's a whole other thing that only time will tell. I can't tell you what tomorrow brings."

Khloé has been by Lamar's side throughout his recovery, only leaving to attend her sister Kim Kardashian's baby shower in Beverly Hills on Sunday. She also released a statement thanking fans for their support, saying: "You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure."
