The Academy Awards is Hollywood's most prestigious and glamorous event, so it's no wonder that the nominees and other A-list stars would want to spend the evening with the people most important to them for a night out at the ultimate party! Chelsea Peretti and Jordan Peele

This couple looked stunning together on the red carpet, with Jordan, who was nominated for Best Director for Get Out, in a white tuxedo jacket, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Chelsea looked sensational in a classic purple velvet number. Chelsea and Jordan announced their engagement in 2015, and eloped in 2016. They welcomed their first child, Beaumont Gino, in July 2017.

It was a big night for Gary Oldman, so it's understandable that he would want his wife Gisele Schmidt on hand for support. The Darkest Hour star has enjoyed an incredible awards season, capped off by winning the Best Actor trophy at the 2018 Oscars, and Gisele has been there with him every step of the way.

They may have been married for six years, but Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves could have been mistaken for a couple on their wedding day as they arrived at the 2018 Oscars! Camila stole the show in a flowing white gown, while her husband wore a black velvet tuxedo jacket and burgundy bow tie to complement her dazzling necklace.

Last year's best supporting actress winner brightened up the red carpet in a gorgeous hot pink Michael Kors gown. She was joined by husband Julius Tennon, who looked every inch the proud partner as he escorted his wife into the Dolby Theatre while wearing a slick black suit and bow tie.

Leslie Mann and her film director husband Judd Apatow appeared to be having fun on the red carpet, chatting to friends and waving to fans, before striking a pose for photographers. The This is 40 actress looked stunning in a red Zac Posen gown, while Judd looked dapper in a tuxedo and bow tie.

Ashley Judd and Mira Sorvino 

We all remember the horrifying admission from the Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson that Harvey Weinstein blacklisted Mira from the films by warning Peter that she was "a nightmare to work with", while Ashley is one of the many actresses to have accused Harvey of sexual harassment. The pair looked incredible as they stood in solidarity with one another at the Oscars. Mira was dressed in a flowing, floral number, while Ashley wore a bold purple gown.

Kumail and his wife, Emily, are both nominees tonight! The pair co-wrote their successful film, The Big Sick, which has been nominated for Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Incidently, the film is also based on the beginning of their relationship. The pair looked stunning together, with Emily dressed in a cream gown with a sensational taffeta skirt, while Kumail dressed in a smart tuxedo and bow tie.

Joe Locicero and Gina Rodriguez 

The Jane the Virgin star and her date for the evening weren't afraid to show a little PDA on the red carpet! Gina has had a fantastic year, having starred in Annihilation and animation Smallfoot, while her popular Netflix comedy drama is currently airing its fourth season. Joe is also an actor and screenwriter, and is known for his work on Spaghettiman and Alien Hunter. Gina stole the show on the red carpet in an eye-catching golden gown, while Joe wore a navy suit and tie.

Patrick Stewart and Sunny Ozell 

While Patrick looked dapper in a tuxedo, his wife Sunny stole the show dressed in a glitzy red and gold dress as they posed for photos at the Hollywood and Highland Centre. The happy couple first met in 2008, and were married in September 2013, with Patrick's close friend Ian McKellan performing the wedding ceremony!

This celebrity couple looked truly loved-up on the red carpet. It proved to be a big night for the pair, with Sam winning the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award for his performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and we're sure he was thrilled to have Leslie there to celebrate.
