Ever since her star turn as a futuristic dominatrix in 1968 film Barbarella, she has been the ultimate bombshell. Now in her later years, Jane Fonda clearly still has va-va-voom that made her a siren all those years ago. She stays young through a combination of exercise, campaigning for her causes and a vibrant love life - the actress has been in a relationship with Hollywood music producer Richard Perry since 2008. This week, the 73-year-old was looking better than ever as she closed Naomi Campbell's fashion show in Cannes.

Sashaying down the catwalk in a gold, lace overlay Marchesa couture dress at Fashion For Relief, the blonde beauty gave even the world's most famous supermodels a run for their money. The charity event had been opened by Naomi herself, showing the crowd why she's still the best in the business in stunning gowns by Yves Saint Laurent, Marchesa and Alexander McQueen. Czech supermodel Karolina Kurkova strutted her stuff in three different colour-block creations, intricate embellishment adding a touch of sparkle to each. And Bruce Forsyth provided the laughs for the evening, joining his wife, former Miss World Wilnelia Merced, on the catwalk.

Dapper in a black suit, the 83-year-old Strictly Come Dancing host gave the 51-year-old scarlet beauty a big welcome as she stepped onto the runway in a red strapless satin gown. As they headed back down the catwalk, Bruce did a double take at the younger model making her way out and pretended to ditch his wife for the striking blonde. France's first lady Carla Bruni put in an appearance via video, with a speech urging people to support this year's chosen cause. She chose to stay away amid rumours that she is expecting twins. The event raised funds for victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, with proceeds going to the Japanese Red Cross.

And Naomi enlisted the help of her friends, designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to create limited edition T-shirts, with proceeds from the sales also going to the cause.
