Olly Murs recently hinted that he may not have time to return to his hosting duties on The Xtra Factor, but his time may well be spent in America where his career is taking off. The singer and previous X-Factor winner has recently been promoting his single in Miami. "It seems like Troublemaker is going to be a hit over here, which is exciting," he said.

Last year, Olly supported One Direction on their USA tour and he admires their phenomenal success. "Can you learn from it?" he asks. "I think you just have to sit back and admire what they’ve done and just go 'Wow, that's amazing.'"

"What they’ve done is absolutely streets ahead of what any other British act has done in the States." Triple-platinum-selling star Olly has an impressive line-up of concerts for 2013. The latest announcement has revealed that he will be headlining a set at the Alton Towers Live concert, performing alongside the likes of British home-grown talent Little Mix, Rizzle Kicks, Labrinth and other X-Factor contestants.

The line-up includes five 2013 Brit Award Nominations, of which Olly was nominated for best British Male Solo Artist and best British Single for his duo Troublemaker with Flo Rida. Although he didn't win at the ceremony, he has exciting plans for this year. His dream of singing with Robbie Williams will come true when he performs as Robbie's supporting act on the star's European tour in the summer. Later in August, he will also be gracing the stage for a third time at the V Festival. He recently tweeted his excitement saying, "The line-up for #VFest2013 has been released!! I'm buzzing to be on it again!!" As for the Alton Towers Live Concert scheduled for 6th July, Olly will be singing on the theme park's front lawns with the famous Towers as the backdrop.

Fans can buy tickets from 1st March onwards via www.aeglive.co.uk, which allows access to the rides and attractions during the day including Alton Towers' largest ever rollercoaster, The Smiler.
