Prince William and pregnant Kate Middleton's number one fan has made his presence known by arriving days before Kate's expected due date, and camping outside the private Lindo Wing where she is scheduled to give birth.Terry Hutt arrived at the hospital dressed head to toe in a Union Jack printed t-shirt, shorts, socks and matching hat."The Queen knows me as the Union Jack man as I'm always dressed up in red, white and blue," he said. "They're my colours and she'll always talk to me; we've talked about her mum before."

If passers-by had doubts as to why the 77-year-old was there, his handmade sign, which was emblazoned with Union Jack flags and a large heart in the middle, made it clear. "Congratulations Prince William, Catherine, hip, hip, hooray," it said.Terry beamed as he posed in front of the Lindo Wing steps for a photograph, and has stationed himself close by so as not to miss the first moments when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge emerge with the royal baby.As a lifelong supporter of the British royal family, Terry has attended several milestone events and knows how to prepare for the long waits. He arrived at the Lindo Wing geared up for the momentous occasion, holding a large memorabilia-printed bag he most likely bought as a souvenir of Prince William and Kate's wedding in 2011.

Terry used the same handmade sign at the happy couple's wedding, and camped outside Westminster Abbey before the big day, again dressed in his Union Jack ensemble. "I'm there for the royalists, I'm there for the Queen, who has never done anything wrong," said Terry in the past. "I'm there for Diana's children, who have grown up very nicely. I reckon he will make a good king and she will make a good queen. "Terry was also spotted at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and her 80th birthday celebrations. While the royalist supporter has seen the reigning monarch more times than the average person, each time is special for him. "Although I see the Queen every so often, it's always just as if I'm looking at her for the first time," said Terry. His wife, Joy, supports his efforts. "He is one of those people that goes up to London on the birthdays of Diana and the Queen Mum," she has said. "I don't really think he needs to do that now after all this time, but he feels he wants to."
