Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's search for the perfect wedding destination continues, as it looks like they won’t be saying 'I do' in the Palace of Versailles after all.

On Monday the Chateau’s official Twitter page made a short statement confirming that their grand nuptials won’t be taking place in France’s most celebrated grounds. "On 19th January @KimKardashian and @kanyewest visited the Palace of Versailles but they are not planning their wedding at the Palace", they tweeted.

The couple, who are currently in the French capital for Paris Fashion Week, had been spotted doing the rounds of top venues as well as attending fashion shows including the unveiling of Stephane Rolland's Haute Couture S/S 2014 collection. While their quest for a wedding venue continues, rapper Kanye has opened up about life as a new dad in his latest interview with  Interview magazine.

Speaking to his interviewer, 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen about his fiancée Kim Kardashian and their daughter, North West, the rapper admits that he's still adjusting to fatherhood.

"I think I have to experience it for another few years to be able to give you an opinion," he says. "It's all brand new, how it feels to be a father. There are some things that I understand, certain things that I don't understand, certain things that I like to get off my chest in interviews, certain things that I want to talk about. But when we talk about love, I don't have an answer. "All I can say is that I'm happy I have it," adds the 36-year-old.

When asked if he ever feels lonely, Kanye reveals that "becoming famous is like being catapulted into space – sometimes without a space suit" but that he has "an anchor of other astronauts" and "a little space family.""I wanted a family," he says. "So god gives you opportunities, and you make sacrifices for something that's greater."
