Lauren Silverman: 'Simon Cowell wants a girl very badly'

Simon Cowell may not have initially seemed the fatherly type, but since the birth of his first child Eric it seems the music mogul is already keen to have another baby.

According to Lauren Silverman, the mother of Simon's three-month-old son, the 54-year-old wants to have a daughter. "We’ll definitely have more children," Lauren told the Daily Mirror. "I would like one more. Simon wants a girl very badly."

In spite of the dramatic start to their relationship — Lauren was still married to her husband Andrew Silverman when she found out she was pregnant, life with Simon seems to be going very well.Simon Cowell reveals how son Eric has grown in touching personal shots "With Simon I'm the happiest I've ever been," gushed the New York socialite. "He's an amazing dad, he does all the nappies, he's very hands-on. "As well as Eric, Lauren has a son Adam, eight, form her marriage to Andrew, When quizzed on how the half-brothers were getting along Lauren said the boys were enjoying a great relationship. "My older son is so in love with the baby," she said. "It's been fantastic."

 While Lauren revealed Simon has been helping out with his fair share of baby duties, the Britain's Got Talent judge himself did admit that the couple have a nanny who looks after Eric at night."I'm not having sleepless nights," he said. "A) I never sleep! And B) we have a nurse that looks after Eric at night times."
