The baby son of Kanye West's cousin Avery has tragically died. The little boy, who had only just turned one, reportedly passed away unexpectedly, with no sign of illness of distress. Avery was the son of Kanye's cousin Ricky Anderson, who works at the rapper's label GOOD Music in LA, according to TMZ. Ricky announced the devastating news on social media, telling his followers: "Today was the worst day of my life! I lost my lil man and gained an angel. Rest in Paradise!!! I love you man."

He also shared several videos of Avery, tagging the little boy's mother Erica Page. She is yet to comment on her loss, but just four days ago she shared a photo of Avery sucking his thumb while spending time with famed music producer Quincy Jones. "The things we do to keep him entertained… Thanks for having us @quincydjones!" she wrote.

Kanye has so far not spoken about the heartbreaking news. It follows a difficult few months for the star and his wife Kim Kardashian, who was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in October. The following month, Kanye cancelled his Saint Pablo tour after an onstage breakdown, which led to a stay in hospital. Kim opened up about the terrifying moment she was robbed at gunpoint in a preview for next week's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The clip shows the 36-year-old star recalling the moment masked men broke into her apartment at the No Address Hotel to her sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.

Kim Kardashian recently opened up about the moment she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris

"They ask for money. I said I don't have any money," she said in a clip posted by E!. "They dragged me out on to the hallway on top of the stairs. That's when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs." The tearful mother of two continued, "I was like; 'I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision.' Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back? It makes me so upset to think about it. Either they're going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don't, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then like I'm [in trouble]. There's no way out."
