Earlier this year, George, 55, and his wife Amal, 39, confirmed they are expecting twins later this year. Breaking his silence shortly after, the actor told Laurent Weil on his French program, Rencontres de Cinema: "We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure. We've sort of embraced it all… with arms wide open." It is thought that the couple's babies are due in June. George's close friend and Ocean's Eleven co-star Matt Damon recently opened up about the moment the father-to-be shared the happy news. "I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him. And I was like, 'how far along is she?' And he goes, 'eight weeks.'" The father-of-four was quick to quip, "Are you out of your mind?! Don't tell anybody else! Don't tell anybody else! Don't you know the 12-week rule?' Like of course he doesn't. I was like, 'Just shut up, man.' And then four weeks later, I'm like, 'we're good right?'" to which George said, 'We're good.'"
