Alex Jones has shared the first full photograph of her beautiful baby Ted on her Instagram page! The One Show host was celebrating her 40th birthday at home surrounded by family and friends. “This is 40” wrote Alex underneath the happy photograph. Baby Ted, full name Edward Alun Burrell Thomson, was born in January and looks adorable in his tiny blue baby grow. Alex looks to be having a wonderful evening partying in the kitchen, with a birthday cake and bottles of champagne and wine on the table.

One Instagram follower wrote: “Many happy returns of the day- you look fantastic at 40”, with another complimenting her, “Happy Birthday Alex. You look much much younger than 40. Miss you on The One Show!” The presenter is currently on maternity leave from the popular BBC1 TV show, taking time at home to bond with little Ted. Alex gave birth to him at the Hammersmith and Fulham hospital weighing 7lbs 11oz. On her new arrival, she said: "It was all very straightforward. Charlie was with me and mum and dad were in the waiting room… We're in this bubble the three of us. It's just the best time." Shortly afterwards she posted a photo showing Ted’s tiny hand holding her finger. She wrote, "My new obsession. #soinlovewithhim".
