Those running the London Marathon are in for a well-deserved treat after crossing the finish line as a number of restaurants and bars across the city are offering free food and drinks to medal-holders. Perfect to refuel and celebrate your 26.2 mile run with friends and family, just flash your medal at any of the places below for your reward.

Maxwell's – Covent Garden: What better way to refuel after a gruelling 26.2 mile run than with a burger? Maxwell's is offering a free Old Timer or Veggie Burger to all medal holders, and 25 per cent off for volunteers on Sunday 22 April 2018. Book your table at maxwells.co.uk.

Bunga Bunga Battersea: This Italian restaurant promises to welcome you over the finish line with open arms, and is offering every medal holder a free pizza on Sunday and Monday 23 April. Visit battersea.bungabunga-london.com to make your reservation.

Royal China: Enjoy the lunch of champions after your race with free dim sum courtesy of Royal China Group. Simply present your medal for a free dim sum dish at the group's Baker Street, Bayswater, Fulham, Harrow-on-the-Hill or Canary Wharf restaurants on the day of the marathon.
