With a reputation as one of the country's more enthusiastic shoppers, Coleen McLoughlin certainly knows how to spend her cash. But recently Wayne Rooney's fiancée has also been busy earning enough money to keep her in as many Fendi handbags as her heart desires. The 20-year-old has been modelling the latest collection of clothes from supermarket giant Asda's George label under a contract worth £1.5 million.

For followers of her style the garments come at a snip with a trendy summer shift dress costing a mere £10. Coleen pronounced herself "really excited" to be the face of the Must Have range. "Everyone knows how much I love fashion and at these prices I can buy the whole range for £25," she said.

In recent years the footballer's fiancée has transformed herself into something of a fashion plate and reaped the rewards in terms of money-spinning deals. Another £1.5 million contract, this time with Nike, will see Coleen - who grew up on a tough Liverpool council estate - promoting her own line of sportswear called Nike C.

An agreement has also been reached with Wayne's publishers HarperCollins for the enterprising celeb to write her own fashion and lifestyle books.
