In the memoir he co-wrote with his wife before his September 14 passing, the late Hollywood star reveals how any moments of despair he endured after being diagnosed with cancer were placated by his love for life and Lisa. "I began to think to myself, I've had more lifetimes than any ten people put together," he wrote in The Time Of My Life earlier this year.
Another likely source of solace for Lisa, who wed the Dirty Dancing star in 1975, will be the Hollywood tributes that continue to pour in for Patrick.
This week at the Toronto International Film Festival, his Point Break co-star Keanu Reeves shared his recollections of working with the Ghost star describing him as "a beautiful person, and artist". "I can say what I know – that he lived life to the fullest," he added.
