Emma Watson denied rumours of starring in the Fifty Shades of Grey film on Twitter on Sunday. The 22-year-old Harry Potter actress wrote, "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life."
She has been a hotly tipped favourite for the role of Anastasia Steele in the film version of E.L. James' raunchy bestseller since the project was confirmed.
Further quashing any speculation, she later tweeted, "Good. Well that's that sorted then."

It isn't the first time that Harry Potter's Hermione has denied such rumours. "I haven't read the book, I haven't read a script, nothing," she said last summer. "There are so many movies you become attached to when I've literally never even received a phone call."
The most recent rumours surfaced after a hacking group claimed to have found documents confirming that Emma had signed up for the film. However, Focus Features, the company making the film, have denied that anyone has been chosen yet.
Mila Kunis similarly denied rumours of playing Anastasia while in London last month .
"Gosh, this Fifty Shades of Grey thing is just not gonna leave is it," she said at a press conference for Oz The Great and Powerful. "No, you will not see me in Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm so sorry."
Love Actually actress Keira Knightley, who has also been linked to the film, is also unenthusiastic about the role. When asked about her upcoming projects last year she said, "It's not going to be Fifty Shades of Grey.
"I normally don't like to give a definite about anything, but I can definitely say it will not be Fifty Shades of Grey."
Twilight star Kristen Stewart, Angelina Jolie and Gossip Girl star Katie Melrose have also been linked to the role.
