Mylene from 4th Impact has broken her silence following the group's dramatic exit from The X Factor on Sunday night. After the live results show and the elimination, her sister and fellow band member Celina collapsed on stage.

The pint-sized star has, thankfully, made a recovery and was pictured being taken to an ambulance. The band used Twitter to thank the public for their support and announce that Celina was doing "ok".

The following morning Mylene was the first to echo the group's appreciation, tweeting: "Thank you for the love @CherylOfficial. Thank you X Factor. We will always be grateful. We love you all."

4th Impact's Celina collapsed on stage after the group was eliminated

The girl group from the Philippines – made up of sisters Celina, Almira, Irene and Mylene – faced fellow contestant Lauren Murray in the sing-off.

The result went to deadlock after both acts received two votes each, with Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, 4th Impact's mentor, choosing to save the girl group. The public had decided, however, that Lauren should stay in the competition.

After their elimination, 4th Impact posted: "Thanks to all who voted for us, why we reach this far. Celina is ok now thanks for your prayers and love - love u guys. Lets keep believing."

They shared another hopeful message on Monday, writing: "Just wanna say thank you for being with us through our whole journey. Can't wait what the world have in store 4 us."

The band clearly enjoyed a close bond with their mentor Cheryl, who responded to one of their tweets writing: "Thank you for being the most gracious, humble & special little souls I have ever had the pleasure of working with, love you."

Speaking to HELLO! Online backstage at rehearsals last week, 4th Impact had nothing but kind words for their Geordie mentor.

"She feels like our big sister," Irene told HELLO! Online. "She's so sweet and always there for us."

"The best thing about Cheryl is that she never acts like she's a superstar, she doesn't act like she's up there," said Irene. "She feels like our big sister. She's so sweet and always there for us."

"She always calls us into her dressing room before each show to make sure everything is ok. She asks us what we want, what we need and she gives us a lot of motivation to do well."

Irene also revealed what Cheryl had given the girls for Christmas, saying: "She gave us three perfumes each and eyelashes! An advanced Christmas gift. She can be our Fifth Impact because she's so kind and sweet."
