Jamie Dornan has revealed that his film, Fifty Shades Of Grey, resulted in a baby boom when it was released two years ago. The actor, who returns as Christian Grey in the sequel Fifty Shades Darker, made the confession on Friday's upcoming episode of The Graham Norton Show. "There was a bit of a baby boom, which is a lovely thing," he explained when asked if he knew about the population explosion.

Recalling an encounter with a fan, he added: "I was in a lift and was recognised by this woman who said, 'Oh my god, you're Jamie Dornan. For years my husband and I struggled to conceive a baby, we tried IVF and everything but after your movie came out we made a baby naturally.' It was so hard to know how to respond!" To which fellow guest Keanu Reeves cheekily noted: "You really want to inspire people with your work!"

The film follows a wounded Christian Grey as he tries to entice a cautious Ana Steele back into his life, but she ends up demanding a new arrangement before she will give him another chance. Discussing the film, the British star revealed that fans can expect raunchier scenes - even though it was "awkward to film".
