Peter Andre has revealed he has landed a major Hollywood role. Taking to his Twitter page on Tuesday to share the exciting news, the 44-year-old shared a picture of the script for the upcoming movie, called The Undoing. The TV star confessed he is lucky to score the new gig - especially since it has taken him 44 years to bag his first venture in the acting world. He told his followers: "Finally I've received (after months of talks) my first ever film script. Start filming in LA next year, and…it's a damn big part…. wahoo.!"
He added: "I've only waited 44 years. @jhickox I'll see you soon brother." The former pop star also shared an official poster shot alongside the caption: "Here it is :) Can't wait to start filming." Fans were quick to congratulate Peter after he revealed the exciting news. One wrote: "Wow that's exciting for you hope it's all you wish it to be and more have fun xx." Another fan remarked: "So thrilled for you.. A wonderful opportunity.. New future awaits you xx."
The Undoing has been co-written by Davey Bonner and Jim Duncanson, with James Hickox taking helm as director. A description of the horror film states: "When a group of sceptical TV ghost hunters stumble upon a real haunting, they think they have hit the jackpot to prove the paranormal does exist. With an eminent scientist in tow, they unleash a horror of such magnitude that only the lucky ones are systematically and brutally murdered." Meanwhile, James has previously worked with Peter, having directed his TV series, Peter Andre's Greek Odyssey. This role will be the father-of-four's first acting stint after he appeared as himself in The Keith Lemon Movie in 2012. Peter had also had a guest role as the Prime Minister in TV comedy series Tripped.
