Amanda Seyfried has revealed that there isn't any bad feeling between her and her Les Miserables co-star Anne Hathaway. The actress has quashed rumours that there is tension between the pair, which came to the fort when Anne made a last-minute dress swap on Oscars night, discovering that her onscreen companion would be wearing a similar creation to her original outfit. "Fact: I love you, Anne!" tweeted Amanda. Dark Night Rises actress Anne planned to wear a Valentino creation on her big evening, but opted for an alternate design by another Italian fashion house, Prada, last minute.

Earlier on in the day Valentino had issued a statement announcing that they would be dressing this year’s Best Supporting Actress, as well as Sally Field and Jennifer Aniston. However, when she discovered Mean Girls star Amanda would be wearing a “remarkably similar” Valentino creation, the star decided to change her dress three hours before the event. "Though I love the dress I did wear, it was a difficult last-minute decision," said the actress on the red carpet. "I didn't even know what I was wearing until about three hours ago."

"I had so looked forward to wearing Valentino in honour of the deep and meaningful relationship I have enjoyed with the house and with Valentino himself," said Anne in the statement to People magazine. "I deeply regret any disappointment caused". Anne, 30, wore a dress by the designer for the 2011 awards ceremony. The show-stopping red gown has been hailed one of Anne's best looks to date. The actress also wore a Valentino creation for her wedding day. Her bespoke whimsical pink wedding gown turned heads as she walked down the aisle to marry Adam Schulman in 2012. Amanda’s tweet was one of her first for micro blogging site Twitter. The star, 27, began tweeting on 21 February, directing her fans to make a donation to an animal charity. Since then, animal lover Amanda has posted several cute snaps of her pet chums, including a picture of her joking around with her dog, who was papped wearing sunglasses, extensions and a pillbox hat.

As well as posting some pictures of her pooch, Amanda also shared some teasers in anticipation of the Oscars ceremony. The actress took snaps of her co-stars Eddie Redmayne and Aaron Tveit backstage as they rehearsed for their Oscar performance of a Les Miserables medley, and released a covert picture of herself getting ready for the ceremony. Thanking her stylists, the actress posed behind her all-star team as she revealed her purple eye make-up and part of her swept-back up do.
