Leonardo DiCaprio gets snap happy at crazy Wolf of Wall Street premiere in Japan

When greeted with hundreds of over excited fans at the Japan premiere of The Wolf of Wall StreetLeonardo DiCaprio was so impressed he couldn't resist whipping out his phone to record the enthusiastic crowds. The actor was clearly thrilled as he took videos and pictures, smiling widely at the warm reception in Tokyo.

Fans cheered and waved while holding banners and giant yellow pens in tribute to the actor's line from the film: "Sell me this pen. "Leo, was accompanied to the unveilling by his co-stars including Jonah Hill and director Martin Scorsese, with whom he has now collaborated on five projects. As well as this year's tale of fast-living stockbroker, the pair have filmed The Departed, Shutter Island, The Aviator and Gangs of New York together.

Leo has got off to a great start to the year with his work with his director friend, after picking up a Golden Globe and Critics' Choice statuette for the Wolf of Wall Street He also received his fifth Academy Award nomination, and if he can beat off competition in the Best Actor category from Matthew McConaughey, Christian Bale, Bruce Dern and Chiwetel Ejiofor he could take home the gold for the first time ever. He is also in the running to pick up an Oscar for his production on the film, which has been nominated in the Best Picture category. One person who has faith in Leo's acting ability is his friend Toby Maguire. the actor has seen the movie twice. "I'm so proud of him," said Toby told E! news. "I just watched him work on this movie for years, and to watch him bring the film into existence... With Martin Scorsese at the helm, it's just phenomenal."His work is absolutely stellar in the movie."
