Well, this is exciting news! The I'm A Celebrity camp is set to welcome some new arrivals this week. It has been confirmed that Danny Baker and Martin Roberts will be heading into the jungle on Thursday night to join the rest of the 2016 contestants.

Both Danny, 59, and Martin, 53, were originally linked to the show – but were not included when the official line-up was finally revealed. And just last week, radio DJ Danny dismissed claims he was joining the reality show as "preposterous". He wrote on Twitter: "Sitting here seeing I am going in the Jungle next week. Chums, the very idea is preposterous. And to people I'm now working with: calm down."

But it was all a ruse, with both stars set to join Ola Jordan, Jordan Banjo, Wayne Bridge, Larry Lamb, Scarlett Moffatt, Lisa Snowdon, Sam Quek, Adam Thomas, Carol Vorderman and Joel Dommett in a matter of days.

Homes Under The Hammer star Martin, meanwhile, has revealed some of his secret jungle preparations to Digital Spy ahead of his arrival. "I've been on all sorts of natural remedies, things to increase my immune system," he said. "I've been eating really weird things that you'd only normally feed to a guinea pig, like lettuce or quinoa."

The TV presenter also admitted that he is feeling anxious about the outdoors showers – many celebrities have been known to show off their enviable figures while bathing, leaving Martin feeling "very insecure" about his own body.

"The image of the shower I have in my head is not of the girls – it's of David Haye, and he does have a great bum," he joked. "There's that shot of him in the shower, and you think, 'I'm never going to look like that.'

"I've been dieting like a silly thing for the last two weeks. I said to my wife, I've got two weeks and three stone to lose. How can I do it?' My wife said, 'Chop off your arm.'"
