Miranda Kerr never looks anything short of flawless, but the supermodel has revealed that it only takes her 15 minutes to get ready and get out of the house in the morning. "I usually have very little time in the mornings, especially with a toddler, so with these simple skin and beauty steps I can get out of the door in 15 minutes" she wrote on her KORA Organics blog. After waking up, Miranda kick starts her body with a simple drink.

Miranda insists her morning routine takes 15 minutes

"I drink a glass of warm water with the juice of half an organic lemon each morning," she said. "Warm lemon water in the morning helps kick start the digestion process for the morning. "It's also a morning ritual that cleanses the system, boosts your immune system and balances pH levels because lemons are very alkalizing. They are also abundant in vitamin C, which promotes health and healing." She then moves onto a method she considers an important part of her morning routine.

The supermodel swears by body brushing and drinking green juices

"Dry body brushing is an integral part of my daily regime," she said. "It's a great way to get the circulation going, remove dead skin cells, aid lymphatic drainage, detoxify your system and keep your skin smooth all over. After her shower, Miranda towel dries and mists her face with a refreshing face mist, applies body lotion and a moisturising cream to her face, neck and décolletage – using all products from her KORA Organics range. As for her hair, Miranda relies on washing the night before to save time. "I wash my hair in the evening so it can dyr naturally overnight, then all I have to do in the morning is style it. "At the moment I prefer a low braid or a high topknot, as they both require little time and effort but still look feminine and polished." She also gives her readers a top tip. "I use a hairbrush with a natural bristle as it promotes shine and is gentle on the scalp." When it comes to make-up, Miranda prefers to keep it simple, applying a tinted moisturiser as "a healthy alternative to foundation." Rather than use a brush for application, she applies with her fingertips – "the warmth will help the formulation melt into your skin for a flawless finish". As for the eyes, Miranda likes to "define my lashes and groom my eyebrows because the eyes really frame the face. I apply two coats of mascara. "To finish off my look I apply lip balm if I want a more natural look, or a tint or lipstick in a shade of red if I want to make more of a statement – the red also brightens my complexion instantly." The final step in Miranda's regime is a green juice. "Green cold pressed juices are packed with live, whole ingredients so it's an instant health hit to the blood stream," she said. "The chlorophyll contained in cold pressed green juices can help keep your blood healthy and are very oxygenating. "Green juices are high in vitamins and minerals making them great contributors to clear skin and bright eyes."
